What future features are in the works? Good question. I haven't figured everything out but here are a few ideas that I'll be implementing.
  • Gamer Bios - Short self descriptions.
  • Avatars - Small images associated with your profile.
  • Profile Comment Board - Short comments to be left on your friend's pages. I want to avoid turning this into another MySpace though, so I'm trying to come up with some way to make this unique.
  • Game scheduler - Send invites to your friends and gamers to schedule specific dates or times to play specific games. This is one of my favorite ideas and is a high priority.
  • Most available at - Basically giving gamers a way to indicate what days and times they are most likely able to play online.
A game I am looking for is missing. First, check and make sure that the game you are looking for actually supports online play. You won't find Resident Evil 4 on our listing because it does not have an online component. If the game you are looking for is supposed to be online and it is missing, that means I probably missed its release or it is not available in the US at this time. Please contact me and notify me of any missing games you discover.
Why am I limited to only 150 friends and gamer buddies? It's the Monkey Sphere. Seriously, this limit is based off something called the Monkey Sphere. Google it to read more about it and I hope you'll find it entertaining, if not enlightening.

Personally, I don't know many people that can truly say that they have 150 friends, and I imagine if that person did have 150 friends, he or she wouldn't have any time to actually play video games. Friend Code Central is intended to help gamers keep their Friend Codes organized and easily display them to their true friends. If you're looking to prop your ego up with an impressive list of strangers you're willing to call friends, check out MySpace instead.
Why can't I upload a picture for my Avatar? I hope to add that capability in the future, but currently I am focusing on the core functionality of the website at this time.
Where are the forums? Right now the Friend Code website market is saturated with forums masquerading as a repository for friend codes. I am trying something a little different and really want to avoid flame wars and other bad behavior that can ruin the experience for some users. Forums are definitely a future consideration but are not a priority at this time.
What about PC, 360 and PS3 At the moment, I'm focusing on Nintendo because the friend code system begs an easier way to keep track of people. I do want to provide support for 360 and PS3 titles in the near future and it is in the grand plan. One concern I have is the fanboy factor, where fans of one particular system begin treating other gamers poorly because of their choice of games. For the meantime, consider this a safe haven for Nintendo users, but expect to have to share this space with others in the future.
